project library
the challenge…
The question was, “How does our CEO deliver samples to potential clients, without having to memorize every job we’ve ever done?” The solution had to be intuitive and easy to use on both the company and client’s end.
the brainstorm…
What began as a journey to develop and organize an archive, became a search engine with the ability to package search results and send them to a recipient.
the build…
I worked closely with the programming dept. on this one, more so than usual. I needed to make sure that my ideas would translate to code. The filters were the most challenging, but we were able to agree on functionality and design compromises that worked.
Adding a project to the library needed to be as easy as searching for one. Below you can see the ‘add project’ pop up over-lay. All of the info can be added in one window and every detail will make it that much easier to search for the project later.
Once you have chosen the perfect projects, you can group them and create a password secured link to that group. I used plenty of white space here to avoid the group screen getting overly cluttered. Minimal text within the groups and smaller thumbnails.
the client side…
Once a sample group has been created, you can send it to the client, password secured. Below depicts what the client would see once they receive and open the link.
